Raised by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) the red tide alert on Fox, Fox Bay in Western Samar finish out the final results of laboratory shellfish caught in the area tested positive for paralytic shellfish poison (red tide toxin) more the regulatory limit.
In Shellfish Bulletin No. 17 issued Tuesday, said the BFAR to all kinds of shellfish and shrimp caught in the area is not safe for human consumption.
