There is growing concern for female overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in the Middle East, especially those sexually abused by their employers, the acts uploaded online.
In 2014, two female OFWs escaped from their employers and were helped by some drivers to escape, but eventually, it was these drivers who victimized them by bringing them to tents in the middle of the desert.
One suspect was identified to be Ahmad, 35 to 40 years old, but the Filipina could not be identified.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration is doing their best to identify the missing Filipinas. In the meantime, they caution OFWs in the Middle East to report crimes to the embassy.
